Recreation Bot ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy while helping you monitor campsite and permit availability. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
To provide its core services, Recreation Bot collects the following information:
Personal Data: We do not collect or store your name, phone number, or address.
Google Account Information: When you log in via Google OAuth, we only use your email address to identify your session. We do not store your Google password or have access to your private Google data.
Search Settings: The App collects and stores the specific search parameters you provide, such as campsite locations, dates, and permit types.
We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:
Authentication: To identify your account and maintain your session.
Monitoring Services: To query availability on supported recreation platforms based on your specific search requests and to notify you of results.
We prioritize the security of your information:
User Registry: We maintain a Users table to manage signed-in accounts. To protect your identity, user email addresses are stored in an encrypted format. We do not store any personal information other than your encrypted email address.
Cloud Database: Your search settings are stored in a secure Cloud database. This storage is fundamental to the App's ability to monitor availability on your behalf even when you are not actively using the App.
Encryption: We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit between the App, our database, and external recreation platforms.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or search settings with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide the monitoring service. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.
You may manage or delete your search settings within the App at any time. If you wish to have your user record removed from our database, please contact the developer at the email address below.
